Survey Merchandiser is seeking independent contractors to work as Retail Merchandisers for a multiple-day project in Sylmar, CA paying $21/hr. This is a retail-focused role requiring prior retail merchandising experience. You will build cardboard and pallet displays, fill with product and load displays on to trucks while documenting progress using our app.

Schedule & Hours  

• Pay: $21/hour
• Date: June 22nd until June 30th, 2026
• Start Time: 4AM
• Shift Length: 6 hours 
• Arrival: 15 minutes early required  

Responsibilities:

• Unload product shipments from trucks.
• Sort and organize products for stocking.
• Stock shelves and displays.
• Maintain overall merchandise presentation and store standards.
• Move, lift, and transport products as needed.
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching to stock lower and upper shelves.

Requirements (Must Have)  

• Experience: Proven retail merchandising experience 
• Physical Ability: Lift up to 50 lbs; stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods 
• Technology: Smartphone (iPhone or Android) with the Survey Merchandiser App 
• Other: 18+, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation 
• Dress Code : Business casual: closed-toe shoes, long pants, plain shirt or polo. Not allowed: shorts, tank tops, graphic shirts, sandals, dirty clothing, or personal phone use on the sales floor
